This structured assessment is designed for companies that have established their market and are now growing faster than their decision-making processes. It evaluates six dimensions: customer evidence, value, commercial pull, decision rights, mandate, and focus, highlighting where the feedback loop between decision and learning is incomplete.
The assessment covers six weighted dimensions. The report provides scores for each and identifies any gaps.
Assesses whether development decisions are based on evidence collected before commitment or on prevailing opinions.
Evaluates whether outcomes are measured and if those measurements inform subsequent decisions in a timely manner.
Determines if the balance between current sales and future product needs is managed by established rules or addressed on a case-by-case basis.
Assesses whether decision-makers and their criteria are defined in advance for cross-functional issues, or only determined during disputes.
Evaluates whether product managers are accountable for outcomes within a clear mandate, and how direction was established during the most recent change.
Assesses the organisation's ability to maintain priorities throughout a cycle, including what has been explicitly declined and how much capacity is allocated before planning begins.
The assessment consists of fifteen questions across four screens. The resulting report provides an overall score, evaluates each of the six dimensions with identified gaps, highlights the most significant finding, outlines what the organisation can and cannot currently know about its decisions, and details the underlying anti-patterns.
The interactive questionnaire runs in the browser and calls a small serverless proxy so the API key stays server-side.
